Paid for Yahoo! Messenger - Add Ons -  10th November 2007 13:28:43

There are a number of paid-for add ons available now for Yahoo! Messenger which promise to retain Messenger features while adding new ones and protecting from booters. Although safe to run, HelpBytes recommend you do not buy such add ons as most of the booting currently is done at the server, not the client - and for this reason no third party add on is going to provide full protection without limiting your Messenger experience.

The 7 new Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 smileys, such as the bee Bee :bz have now been included on our Smileys page.

These smileys are also available in YaZak.

Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 - Beta Release -  3rd November 2007 13:13:44

Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 has now been released as a beta version - meaning it's for wide public testing. There are some cosmetic changes, and voice may now work in vista without adding codecs. There are also some usability bugs - both from 8.1 and new ones.
